Neimoidian heavy troops were Neimoidians assigned to a heavy infantry role. Compared to the regular Royal Guard of the Cato Neimoidian government[1] and Trade Federation,[2] heavy troops wore bulkier armor that allowed them to hold back large amounts of enemy fire. The commandos of the Neimoidian special forces wore a type of armor that blended the mobility of the regular guards with plating that provided cover, like that of the heavy infantry. Upon seeing Royal Guard Ruug Quarnom, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi noted that her armor was not the typical gear of the guard, nor was it the heavy armor, which he realized meant she wore commando armor.[1]
