The human inhabitants of[1] the Mid Rim planet[2] Naboo produced a bitter, astringent, and cleansing wine from the native fruits grown in the world's drowned fields. The vintners who made the wine bottled it in the air and said that the wine made by Naboo's Gungan species would never compare; however,[1] the Argiopid[2] sommelier Derla Pidys found the humans' wine virtually undrinkable. Despite this, she sold the wine[1] by 34 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
The wine was mentioned in "The Wine in Dreams," a novella written by Mira Grant and published in the Canto Bight anthology in 2017.[1]
