ND-221 was the designation of an Imperial stormtrooper.[3] In 1 BBY,[1] they were stationed on[3] the planet[4] Tatooine as as part of a squad led by JM-909. Ahead of a skirmish, ND-221 was assigned two other stormtroopers and flanked suspected Tusken Raiders from the north. However, the Tusken Raiders had staged the area for an ambush, and attacked the squad, with JM-909 the only survivor.[3]
