The N'ildwab system was a star system located in the Tynquay sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] It fell within grid square Q-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the N'ildwab system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction, a comic book written by Andy Mangels, illustrated by John Nadeau, and published by Dark Horse Comics[4] in July 1996. [5] It was then identified as the N'ildwab system in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[6]
