In 32 BBY,[2] the junk dealer Watto of the Toydarian species kept a Toydarian N'Omis flower in his Mos Espa junkshop's trophy shelf. Despite being located on the desert planet Tatooine, the dome of Watto's shop in which the Toydarian flower was placed was cooled from Tatooine's heat by a custom built system, and had a Toydarian muck lake atmosphere to serve as Watto's nest. A part of Watto's collection of podrace memorabilia, the N'Omis flower possessed a red coloration, and drooped from a conoid container attached to the junkshop's wall.[1]
Behind the scenes
The N'Omis flower is mentioned in the Star Wars Legends reference title Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I. Published in 2000 by Dorling Kindersley, it was authored by Kristin Lund with illustrations by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen.[3] Both the illustration and the name of the N'Omis flower was made canon with Dorling Kindersley's release of the reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations in 2016, which re-used material from Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I.[1]
