The mythosaur axe was a melee weapon used by the Mandalorians. One of these was owned by Vera Beroya and her father.[1] It shared its name with the mythosaur, a creature of gigantic proportions found on the Outer Rim world of Mandalore.[2]

Behind the scenes

The mythosaur axe was first mentioned and pictured in the current Star Wars canon in the 2016 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying supplement, Friends Like These.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the mythosaur axe first appeared in the first issue of the Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – The Sith War comic book series, which was written by Kevin J. Anderson, and published by Dark Horse Comics[3] on August 15, 1995.[4]
