Behind the scenes

Mynos III originated in the canon middle grade novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless,[2] where it was a planet located in the Mynos system of the Dalchon sector.[2][3] It was introduced to the Star Wars Legends continuity in the Galactic Threads storyline released in Game Update 7.8: Pursuit of Ruin, released on December 9, 2025, as part of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Legacy of the Sith.[1]

During the storyline, if the player chooses to send Greb Besrik to a prison within their character's faction, they will receive an email after the storyline from Besrik, who informs them of their situation within the prison. In the email, Besrik mentions Mearalis II and Mynos III as possible locations for a cell in which he had been imprisoned in some time prior. Besrik also mentions that the place he was held in had many farmers,[1] which may be a reference to Mynos III's status as an agricultural planet in the canon continuity.[2]
