Mycroft was a terrestrial planet in the Fakir sector. The world hosted a variety of climates and terrains, ranging from low mountains covered in forests, arid deserts, and frozen polar icecaps. Several dangerous species inhabited Mycroft, including a bear-like creature and a flying carnivore.[2]
By the time of the Clone Wars, the Intergalactic Zoological Society was based on Mycroft. The society was committed to gathering and cataloguing species from across the galaxy. A branch of the Jedi Exploration Corps was also based on the planet. During the war, the Exploration Corps asked the Jedi Order to be on the look out for the Titavian IV, an exploration vessel used by the Intergalactic Zoological Society that had failed to rendezvous at Mycroft. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi found the ship, adrift after being attacked.[3]
During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire established a ship repair and refueling outpost known as Repair Station M13 on Mycroft. Reekeene's Roughnecks deployed Green squad to attack M13 as part of Operation Retribution; their mission was to harass the outpost, capture prisoners for interrogation, steal any available equipment and supplies, and destroy the facility if possible.[2]
