The Mos Eisley Salvage Yard was a salvage yard located in the city of Mos Eisley on the planet Tatooine. After she was purchased by the crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure to act as his head of cybernetic operations, the EV-series supervisor droid EV-9D9 underwent reprogramming at the yard.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Mos Eisley Salvage Yard was mentioned in "Labor, Repair and Miscellaneous Droids," a part of De Agostini's Star Wars Encyclopedia series,[1] which was released on June 29, 2022.[2] The yard originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in the 1998 video game Star Wars: DroidWorks.[3]
