The monzu was a type of spotted creature that could be found on the Mid Rim planet Zolan. They were capable of flashing their backs in pulsating rainbow patterns, an ability similar to the changeling traits of Zolan's Clawdite population.[1]

Monzu were mentioned in "The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Clawdites," an article published in the tenth issue of the Star Wars Gamer magazine[1] on May 7, 2002.[2]
