Mon Mothma's Senate office was located in the Imperial Executive Building on the planet Coruscant. It was used by Chandrilan Senator Mon Mothma during the late Republic Era and the Imperial Era.
Description
Senator Mon Mothma's office in the Imperial Executive Building, in the Imperial Plaza area on the planet Coruscant. The atmosphere of the room suggested serenity and peace with pale colors, cushioned seats and a view overlooking the clouds.[2] The office featured a recessed seating area and was illuminated by natural lighting from a large window facing the Senate Building and skylights.[1]
History

In 22 BBY,[4] Mothma spent hours in her office studying the full implications of the emergency powers that Supreme Chancellor Palpatine had been granted at the start of the Clone Wars.
In 3 BBY, Apprentice Legislator, Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, visited Mothma's office with proof she had collected proof of the Galactic Empire's cruelty against the planet of Chasmeene.[2] During the same year, Mothma met with the Senator Dasi Oran, who represented the planet Ghorman, in an effort to get support to to challenge the Emperor Palpatine's extension of the Public Order Resentencing Directive. Despite Mothma's previous support for the Ghorman people Oran ultimately decided not to vote against the Emperor's extension fearing a backlash against his people.[5]
However during the following year the Empire proceeded with a campaign against the Ghormans, ultimately resulting in the Ghorman Massacre and the arrest of Senator Oran in 2 BBY. Applaud by the genocide Mothma began work on a speech denouncing the massacre in her office. While she was writing the speech her aid, Erskin Semaj scanned the room for listening devices and ultimately finding one planted by the Imperial Security Bureau. After smashing the device, Mothma left her office to practice her speech outside in the Imeperial Plaza while Semaj continued to scan for more devices. When she returned she had discovered that Semaj had been acting as an operative for Luthen Rael and rebel associate of Mothma's. After Semaj confirmed that he had finished sweeping for bugs, Mothma confronted him about his betrayal and dismissed him from her service. She later left the office to deliver the speech and ultimately join the Alliance to Restore the Republic as it's public leader.[6]
