In 228 BBY,^[2] a scientific mission to investigate the blight was carried out by the Jedi Order and Galactic Republic to investigate a plague known as the blight that had spread throughout the galaxy. While they were on their mission, however, the group carrying out the mission—including Jedi Master Eve Byre, Padawan Cam Lindon, and Jedi younglings Kildo and Tep Tep—received a distress call from the planet Eiram from Jedi Master Ackmora requesting assistance in dealing with a situation that had arisen in Barraza City. Being the only Jedi that could be spared, the group headed to Eiram where they successfully dealt with the incident there.^[1]
