Around 3 ABY,[4] a mission was undertaken to the palace of the Hutt crime lord Jabba the Hutt on[3] the planet[6] Tatooine by Lando Calrissian to retrieve a droid he had previously sold to Jabba in order to save his friend, the cyborg Lobot after his cybernetics began failing and threatened to kill him.[3] At the same time, the newly reassembled D-Squad made their way to Jabba's Palace to search for coordinates that could lead them to Ajax Sigma.[1]
