Mirgoshirax was a terrestrial astronomical object[4] in the Agamar system[3] of the Outer Rim Territories' Lahara sector.[1] During the outbreak of the droid intelligence known as the Scourge, the Sith Lord Darth Vader traveled to Mirgoshirax after willingly infecting himself with the Scourge and trapping it within a closed circuit in his armor. In a facility on Mirgoshirax, Vader studied the Scourge, attempting to control the droids under its corruption. A Galactic Empire force confronted Vader for his previous attack on Emperor Palpatine, but Vader used the Force through the vision of the Scourged droids to defeat them. The Scourge itself also deployed forces to Mirgoshirax in an attempt to force Vader to surrender himself to it, but the Sith successfully destroyed the Scourged droids.[4]
