- "I believe that's the minister of war over there. No point aiming low when you can aim high. If we're lucky—and if he's been drinking—we might get him to drop the court-martial completely."
- ―Wullf Yularen, to Thrawn
The Minister of War of the Galactic Empire[1] was the head of the War Ministry[2] and one of the highest-ranking officials of the Imperial Military.[1] The office's incumbent wore an Imperial officer's uniform with two code cylinders, an Imperial kepi and a rank insignia plaque with five red and five blue tiles.[3]
Colonel Wullf Yularen attempted to convince the incumbent minister of war to drop a planned court-martial against Thrawn.[1] Between 2 BBY and 1 BBY,[4] the then Minister of War visited the Imperial supply moon to inspect a new starfighter factory, but due to his Lambda-class shuttle being tracked by the Rebel Alliance the factory was attacked by X-wing starfighters, with the Minister being caught in the crosshairs.[3]
