Microsecond

A microsecond was a unit of time. Droids could retrieve information from their permanent memories in microseconds, making them much faster at information retrieval than Humans.^[1] Particle shields equipped on capital ships were raised and lowered with microsecond precision when launching carried craft like starfighters or when physical projectiles like missiles were fired.^[2]
