Menbachi bowls were a type of bronze-colored bowl that were heat-resistant.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] the server droid K7-1EG carried a pair of menbachi bowls, one in each hand, while floating by the table of the customers Kesmer Faloodi, Bihun, and Basko in the Lomi Usqi Noodle Shop where it worked in Point Ueda, capital of the planet Ueda.[1]
Behind the scenes
Menbachi bowls appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] The bowls were first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In the real world, menbachi (麺鉢) is the Japanese word for noodle bowl,[5] making the name "menbachi bowl" a tautology.[6]
