The Mek-Sha system was located in the Belderone sector of the Outer Rim Territories in the galaxy. The system was located in grid square R-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

The Mek-Sha system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the article "Star Systems of the Galaxy" published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Mek-Sha is a fueling station first introduced in the 2019 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught, the seventh digital expansion to Star Wars: The Old Republic.[2]
