- «Can I have breakfast now?»
«Of course. […] Meat-striped fruit squares all right?» - ―Che'ri and Thalias
Meat-striped fruit squares were a fruit–based food that could be eaten by the Chiss species. The sky-walker navigator of the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk, Che'ri, occasionally ate meat-striped fruit squares for her morning and afternoon meals.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," who was Che'ri's caregiver, offered to bring the dish for the young girl aboard the Springhawk.[1] Later that year[3] Che'ri also ate them before the Sunrise incident, where the Springhawk and the Nikardun blockade frigate Aelos faced off against the Kilji picket cruiser Hammer and a Grysk warship.[4]
