Verinti resident Mav Gatta lived in a homestead which she saved entirely from raiders while thirteen-years-old[1] in 3 ABY,[2] using survival skills she had learned from the holodrama Troops. Gatta was given a full scholarship to an Imperial Academy by the Galactic Empire for saving the homestead and the story was covered later that week on the HoloNet News by reporter Dorna Parros.[1]
