Marni

Marni was the former wife of the banker Tay Kolma.^[1] Shortly before the wedding of Leida Mothma and Stekan Sculdun in 4 BBY, Marni and Kolma began to "live apart" from one another, which the latter noted to his friend, the Chandrilan Senator Mon Mothma, who had been unaware of this development when she asked about his wife's whereabouts. According to Kolma, his separation had become a source of some gossip^[2] and Mothma's husband Perrin Fertha later claimed that Marni had run off, leaving his partner free to pursue the relationship that he believed she was having with Kolma.^[1] Along with the collapse of several business interests,^[2] his separation with Marni caused Tay Kolma to become resentful towards Mothma, who he tried to blackmail with his knowledge about her involvement with the fledgling rebellion taking shape against the Galactic Empire, although he was silenced by a member of the Axis network before he could make good on his threat.^[3]
