The Evereni female Marda Ro resided in quarters aboard the Gaze Electric,[2] the flagship[3] of the Path of the Open Hand cult of which she was a member during the High Republic Era.[2] In 382 BBY,[4] after she used the lightsaber of her former lover, the Pantoran Jedi Padawan Kevmo Zink, on[2] the Mid Rim[5] moon Jedha, the Evereni hid the weapon beneath a neatly stacked pile of robes in her quarters.[2]
After Marda took possession of the Gaze Electric following the Night of Sorrow[2] the same year,[3] she took to living in the ship's throne hall.[6] By 228 BBY, the quarters had been destroyed[1] when the Evereni Marchion Ro[7]—a descendant of Marda[8] and who owned the Gaze Electric—destroyed the vessel above[7] the Wild Space[9] planet Sophros.[7]
Behind the scenes
Marda Ro's quarters were mentioned in the 2023 young-adult novel The High Republic: Path of Vengeance, written by Cavan Scott as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase II.[10]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi establishes that the Gaze Electric was destroyed concurrently to the Battle of Eriadu, which takes place in 228 BBY per the reasoning here. As a location on the Gaze Electric, the destruction of Marda Ro's quarters must have occurred by that year.
