The Marasaln Conflict took place at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY[1] and shared its name with the Marasaln system of the Mid Rim's Outer Jalor sector.[3] The regional conflict saw the participation of Cassio Tagge as part of the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire.[2]

The Marasaln Conflict was mentioned in "The Death Star Coup," an article authored by Jason Fry and published as part of the A Certain Point of View department in the 2014 Special Edition of the Star Wars Insider magazine.[2] The issue was published on November 5, 2013.[4]
