A Mandelfish was a fish that lived in the oceans of the planet Mon Cala and swam in schools. They were thought to populate the planet when the Mon Calamari were only a fledgling species. According to a legend, the young Mon Calamari Carus was known to swim with schools of mandelfish during his dives outside the city.[1] This fish was mentioned in a version of the legend that was transcribed and collected in the book Myths & Fables.[2]
