- "Our fuel is deadly to the beast. It killed them in the past. It will kill this one now."
- ―Doge Nakha Urus
Malastarian fuel was a type of fuel mined out of the core of the planet Malastare. When the native Dugs began to harvest the fuel, its toxic properties drove Malastare's Zillo Beasts to near-extinction.[1]
Behind the scenes
- "I was able to convert the Malastare fuel toxin into a poison gas."
- ―Doctor Sionver Boll
Malastarian fuel first appeared in "The Zillo Beast," the eighteenth episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' second season.[1] However, it was not identified as such until the publication of the episode's accompanying guide.[3]
