Doge was a title held by the leader of the Dug Council on the planet Malastare. During the Clone Wars, the Dug Nakha Urus held this title. With the backing of the council, Urus' position allowed him to sign a treaty with the Galactic Republic regarding the Republic's use of Malastare's fuel supply.[1]
Behind the scenes
The title of Doge first appeared in "The Zillo Beast," an episode of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series.[1]
