The Mabari armor, also known as Mabari armorweave or Mabari steelweave, was a type of armor created by the Mabari.

The Mabari armor offered a high degree of protection against energy-based weapons like blasters but lesser protection from kinetic damage.[1] The complete armor set consisted of helmet, chest plate, gloves, belt, pants and boots. The leggings included a metal kama-style skirt. The armor was available in several colors.[3]
The Mabari armor was similar in appearance to Jal Shey and Zeison Sha armored robe.[4]
History
The Mabari steelweave was developed by the Mabari, an ancient order of warrior knights[5] from Zolan.[2]
The bounty hunter Zam Wesell wore a Mabari armor during the Separatist Crisis.[2] In addition, a number of bounty hunters affiliated with the Confederacy of Independent Systems used to wear this kind of armor during the Clone Wars.[6]
By the time of the Galactic Civil War, Mabari armors were mainly used by mercenaries. Following the Battle of Yavin, Ree-Yees offered a Mabari steelweave to a spacer who achieved several missions for him and Jabba the Hutt.[3] Around the same time, a trader encountered the Sanyassan Marauder armorsmith Macchbraus on the Forest Moon of Endor. Macchbraus requested the trader to craft him bone, composite, padded and Mabari armors in exchange for teaching him to create Marauder armors.[7]
