Ma-Dok Risto was a member of the Jedi Order during the time of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems. The mentor of Keer Stenwyt, Risto attended their former Padawan's Knighting Ceremony at the Jedi Temple shortly after the beginning of the war[1] in 22 BBY.[2] In a discussion after the ceremony concerning the recent Cadesura disaster on the neutral planet Cato Neimoidia, Risto nodded to reassure Stenwyt when she looked to her former Master after offering her thoughts on the matter.[1]
Behind the scenes
Ma-Dok Risto was introduced in Mike Chen's 2022 novel Brotherhood.[1] The character's name serves as a tuckerization of another Star Wars author, Chen's friend Adam Christopher.[3]
