The MG7 proton torpedo launcher was a model of proton torpedo launcher manufactured by Krupx Munitions.

Description

The MG7 proton torpedo launcher had a magazine of three torpedoes, usually loaded with MG7-A proton torpedoes. Rebel T-65 X-wing starfighters were outfitted with a pair of MG7s, one on either side of the fuselage, giving the fighter a total warhead capacity of six torpedoes.^[1]

History

Luke Skywalker fired Proton torpedoes from an MG7 launcher during the Battle of Yavin that destroyed the first Death Star.^[1]
