This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1] Luntobetha was a member of this species.[2]
Biology and appearance
This bipedal humanoid sentient species[1] could sometimes be distinguished by the old Bando Gora rebreather masks[2] that were attached to devices on their chests via a series of tubes.[1]
Species in the galaxy
By 132 BBY,[3] a member of this species, Luntobetha,[2] worked as a clothing dyer and vendor on the planet Olega.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Bando Gora design that inspired this species
The species made their debut in the second episode of the 2024 television series, Star Wars: The Acolyte, directed by Leslye Headland.[1] According to David W. Collins, this species' design was made in reference to the Bando Gora captain from the 2002 video game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter,[4][5] a connection that was later made canon via the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide[2] which released in select countries on June 5, 2025.[6]
