- "Lohjoy! Give me something! Thrusters, attitude control—I'll take parking jets!"
"We've got nothing, Commander! Reactors are down! And we've got structural failures in the hull, both aft and—" - ―Yaru Korsin and Lohjoy, just before the latter's death
Lohjoy was a Ho'Din engineer who served aboard the starship Omen[2] in 5000 BBY,[1] at the onset of the Great Hyperspace War fought between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. During that year, while the Sith dreadnaughts Omen and Harbinger were carrying lightsaber-amplifying Lignan crystals to Sith Lord Naga Sadow, the two ships were ambushed by a Jedi starfighter over the Outer Rim planet Phaegon III. While Lohjoy was transmitting a hologram to Omen's commander, Yaru Korsin, an explosion in the starship caused her snake-like Ho'Din hair to catch on fire; she was subsequently killed by a hull breach. Commander Korsin described Lohjoy as honest and cautious.[2]
