The Lialic system was located in the Deep Core[2] and the Interior.[1] It was also situated in the grid square K-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Lialic system was introduced in the current Star Wars canon in "The Deep Core,"[3] an article written by Mark Newbold[4] and included in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the thirty-sixth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine[3] that was published around September 9, 2015.[5] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[2] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[6] The Lialic system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.[7]
