LiMerge Power was a company headquartered on Tythe.
History
The company had substantive holdings at the LiMerge Building in The Works on Coruscant. LiMerge used Tythe as their planetary base for manufacturing. The planet was ultimately devastated when factories LiMerge built in the northern hemisphere reached hazardous levels and imploded.
LiMerge Building in The Works
The company was rumored to have manufactured and sold illegal weapons during the time that Finis Valorum served as Supreme Chancellor. It also was believed to have funded pirate raids against the Trade Federation in the Outer Rim Territories that gave the Trade Federation the right to defend itself with battle droids. LiMerge was rumored to be controlled by the Sith.
In the recapture of Tythe, Darth Sidious used Count Dooku as bait to lure Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker into a trap in LiMerge's Tythe factory. In baiting Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku angered the Jedi Knight. As a result, Skywalker collapsed a large section of the building in rage, using the dark side of the Force. Dooku's confidence was shaken by this.
