Lessa-7 was a terrestrial moon[2] in the Lessa system in the Mytaranor sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] that was home to a facility where Wookiees produced medicine from the stomach juice of a sarlacc. During the Imperial Era, the operation was taken over by Trandoshans, who enslaved the Wookiees and repurposed the facility to instead create chemical weaponry, including corrosive charges. After the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca were sent to Lessa-7 by Jabba the Hutt to collect corrosive charges, Chewbacca discovered the slaves and freed his fellow Wookiees, allowing them to once again take control of the facility.[2]
