Layton Wyke

Layton Wyke was a human male from Naratar who founded Wyke Town, a settlement on the Galactic Frontier astronomical object of Loreth. He was the uncle of Pela, who Wyke believed was too frightened and needed to toughen up in order to survive on the frontier. After Wyke Town suffered from attacks by a Gretalax from the nearby mountain Temple Peak, which Wyke had named after a temple on Naratar, Wyke hired the monster hunter Ty Yorrick to handle the creature.^[1]
