A lava reactor core[1] was a type of reactor, At some point, Bri-Phrang City, located on the planet Eriadu, was built on top of a volcano and ancestors of the Tarkin family members Emelsine and Sevran Tarkin harnessed the flow of lava with the reactor to power both Bri-Phrang and Eriadu City. During the High Republic Era, the Nihil pirates bombed Eriadu City and fractured the reactor core. After becoming the family's head, Sevran began to help repair as the slightest disturbance or explosion could cause it to collapse.[2] During the Battle of Eriadu, members of the Jedi Order attempted to stabilize the reactor.[1]
