Laqasa Trill was a female Devaronian Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order who was a Jedi seeker and hunter. As a hunter, she followed an ecologist philosophy of only targeting overpopulated game species or predators targeting sentients. She considered her hunting a form of meditation, and believed her success was in part due to a connection with her quarry in the Force.[1]
Trill never used a lightsaber, instead using local hunting implements and techniques, though she did modify some of these implements: one example being the Eyes of Laqasa, a pair of Force-imbued goggles which were rumored to be stored in a hunting lodge in the Blue Mountains of Devaron. According to Devaronian legend, Trill invented these goggles as a result of a hunter secretly imported a predator with a Force-imbued chameleon ability that made them nearly invisible in their surroundings into Devaron's northern continent. Trill used the goggles to hunt these predators, writing in her journal that she owed her life and success in hunting the predators to the Eyes.[1]
