- "Sleek and practical, its twin pods speed the transfer of genetic information and the kyber crystal energy, to make our Sith clones the best in the galaxy! Another great product of the Lama Su Clone Works of Kamino."
- ―Dooku unveiling the Clone-amatic 11-38 to his allies
The Lama Su Clone Works was a company responsible for the design and manufacture of the Clone-amatic 11-38—in collaboration with the Sith Lord Count Dooku, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and the Order of the Sith Lords—which was intended to create an army of Sith clones said by Dooku to be the "best in the galaxy." Clones made by the Clone-amatic were based on the Sith clone Jek-14.[1] However, around 21 BBY,[2] it instead only produced a single defective clone, Jek 15. The company originated from the planet Kamino,[1] and shared its name with the Prime Minister of Kamino,[3] Lama Su.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Lama Su Clone Works was mentioned in "Menace of the Sith," the second episode of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles,[1] which aired on Cartoon Network on September 4, 2013.[4]

- ↑ LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles book places the birth of Jek-14—which takes place during the LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles episode "The Phantom Clone"—in 21 BBY. As the events of the episode "Menace of the Sith" occur immediately after the events of "The Phantom Clone", it must have occurred around 21 BBY.
