The Tannhäuser Gate was originally mentioned in the 1982 Ridley Scott film, Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford,[2] prior to the 1989 mention of the "Gates of Tannahäuser" within the pages of Dragon Radieux HS3.[1] The similarly named "Battle of Tanenauser" (French: "bataille de Tanenauser") was later mentioned in the 1996 Casus Belli #94 article, Grand Moff, droïd assassin & vieux cristaux, described therein as a "Rebellion refuge-world."[3]
