- "That smell. Bitter citrine. Like a too-ripe kakadu fruit. And see the fluid in the mouth? He was poisoned. Kytrogorgia. Aka cerulean slime mold. It goes dry, then you powder it, and then—well, if I had a guess, someone sprinkled it in his spice tin, ensuring that he'd blissfully off himself without a clue in the world."
- ―Jas Emari, on Perwin Gedde's fate
Kytrogorgia, also known as cerulean slime mold, was a liquid substance used in mycotoxin, a poison used to kill ex-Imperial Vice Admiral Perwin Gedde at the hands of bounty hunter Mercurial Swift. Kytrogorgia was a tell-tale sign of mycotoxin and was discovered by fellow bounty hunter Jas Emari. It smelled like bitter citrine, or a too-ripe kakadu fruit.[1]
