"A kyber mirror."
"Like the ones on Jedha, used for the reflection day ceremonies?"
"Exactly."
Cohmac Vitus and Amadeo Azzazzo[2]

Kyber mirrors were objects made of kyber crystal. Multiple kyber mirrors existed in the Hall of Reflection on Jedha[1] and another kyber mirror was located in a Tolemite temple in Varovia. Unlike regular mirrors, kyber mirrors did not just show a person's reflection, but future paths the person might walk.[2]

"We’re on Jedha. At the very least, you should consider visiting the Kyber Mirrors."
Aida Forte, to Creighton Sun[1]

The Kyber Mirrors on Jedha were three kyber mirrors[3] in the Hall of Reflection under the Dome of Deliverance in Jedha City.[1] Pilgrims visited the mirrors on Reflection Day.[3]

Reath Silas sees his future

Reath Silas sees his future

"It's a trial of faith, Reath. The mirror doesn't just show your reflection- it's said to reveal the paths you might walk in the future, and what the Force might have in store for you if you choose if you choose to take them. It's a test to see if you are strong enough to face those possible futures and carry on."
―Cohmac Vitus[2]

The Tolemites installed a kyber mirror as a test if the person trying to enter had a strong enough will. When Jedi Knight Reath Silas, former Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus and Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo approached the miror, Vitus said that Silas was the best choice out of the three to look into the mirror. Silas looked into the kyber mirror and it showed him multiple possibles futures including one in which he slayed Azlin Rell and one in which he was a member of the Jedi Council.[2]
