The Kuna's Tail system was a location in the Moddell sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Before the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY,[3] Kuna's Tail was featured as part of a map composed by Corporal Ractivelle of the Stardust unit for the preparation of the Rebel Alliance's attack on the second Death Star.[1]

Before the Battle of Endor, the map of the Moddell sector and the accompanying navigational reports were archived in The Rebel Files, a central data archive that contained secret rebel documents and reports.[1] In 34 ABY,[4] The Rebel Files were rediscovered and ultimately given to the Resistance.[1]

Behind the scenes

Kuna's Tail was first mentioned in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 18, a canon magazine first released in 2015 and published by De Agostini.[5]
