A krayt dragon spits its venom on a group of Tusken Raiders.
Krayt dragon venom,[1] also known as krayt venom,[2] was a greenish yellow acidic fluid formed within the bodies of krayt dragons,[3] which helped those creatures pre-digest their food.[1] When threatened, a dragon could also project venom directly from its mouth, causing the organic tissues of the target to dissolve.[3] Once dried and ground into an orange powder, krayt venom could be used as a poison. However, it was more difficult to obtain, and less toxic than other poisonous substances, such as rock wart venom or chall granules. Bib Fortuna, Jabba the Hutt's majordomo on Tatooine, was known to carry krayt venom powder.[1]
