This article is non-canon within the canon continuity.

This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1] Kouru was a member of this species.[2]

Biology and appearance

This near-human sentient humanoid species was distinguished by their pointed ears,[1] amber-colored eyes, and striking heads of hair, which were sometimes white in coloration.[2]

Species in the galaxy

By 20 years after the Sith rebellion, Genbara, one member of this species, the Sith Kouru, served as the leader of a bandit group who attacked a village on the planet Genbara. There she was killed by the wandering Sith known simply as the Ronin, though she was later revived as a Sith demon.[2]

This species made their first appearance in the Star Wars: Visions Volume 1 episode "The Duel", written by Takashi Okazaki, and directed by Takanobu Mizuno, and produced by Kamikaze Douga in association with Lucasfilm Franchise Animation.[1] According to The Art of Star Wars: Visions, Kouru belongs to the only original species in "The Duel," with every other non-droid character stated to belong to an existing species.[3] A poster created for "The Duel" reimagines Kouru as a pop idol, erroneously depicting her species as having bright green hair, light pink skin, and large red eyes,[4] contradicting other sources.[2]
