Kortatka was a terrestrial planet that featured river lands^[2] that was located in the Kortatka system in the Croynar sector of the Inner Rim Territories.^[2] In the time following the Galactic Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor, a breakaway Imperial faction occupied Kortatka. The planet was attacked by the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, part of the Imperial loyalists, in their renewed Operation: Cinder campaign against worlds that they viewed as traitorous.^[2]
