One of the ancient hyperlanes from the early days of the Galactic Republic, the Koros Trunk Line began as a connection between Coruscant and Koros Major, later known as Empress Teta. The route, which was discovered with the method of S-thread boosters,[1] was used to supply Coruscant with carbonite from Koros and became known as the Carbonite Pipeline. It triggered an exploration boom towards the Deep Core.
It stretched past Kuar, Foerost, and Kaikielius before arriving at Coruscant.
In front of the Hyperspace Navigator's Guildhouse is a Monument to Lost Navigators, a massive carbonite statue of the ancient, unnamed patriarch of the Coruscanti family that allegedly blazed the Koros Trunk Line on a generation ship.[4]
