- "Korla, get the stats on the average cargo space of a Longbeam and the carrying capacity when relocating refugees."
- ―Rina Greylark, to Korla
Korla was an individual who worked for Senator Rina Greylark of the Galactic Republic's Galactic Senate during the High Republic Era.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] Korla was present in Senator Greylark's office on[1] the Core Worlds[3] planet Coruscant shortly after the fall of the Nihil pirates' Stormwall[1] hyperspace barrier[3] when Rina's daughter Zenny Greylark visited the office with Jedi youngling Tep Tep. After the senator opened the doors to her office, she called for Korla to acquire the statistics for the average cargo space of a Longbeam cruiser and the capacity it could carry when relocating refugees. Shortly after, once Rina had finished providing tasks to others, Zenny noticed individuals move about with renewed energy.[1]
Behind the scenes
Korla appeared in the 2025 junior novel The High Republic: A Valiant Vow, written by Justina Ireland as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]

As The High Republic: A Valiant Vow takes place nearly two years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
