The Kor-Lahvan system was located in the Corosi sector within an intersecting area of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories.[2] Situated in grid square N-6 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it contained the location Kor-Lahvan, where the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry was deployed[3] in 1 BBY.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Kor-Lahvan system was mentioned in the "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix released alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map[1]—both works having been authored by Jason Fry and published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[5]

Battlefront: Twilight Company establishes that the 61st Mobile Infantry was deployed to Kor-Lahvan prior to the battle on Vir Aphshire, which takes place concurrent to the Battle of Yavin, and after Hazram Namir joined the company two months prior to Vir Aphshire. Star Wars: Timelines defines 1 BBY as the year preceding the Battle of Yavin; therefore, the 61st must have been deployed to Kor-Lahvan in 1 BBY.
