The Kolkur system was a star system located in the Indrexu sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square S-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained the terrestrial astronomical object Kolkur, site of the Ruins of Kolkur. During the Imperial Era, the ruins were studied by Doctor Eustacia Okka.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Kolkur system first appeared in the first issue of the 2020 comic book series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra, which was written by Alyssa Wong, illustrated by Marika Cresta, and published by Marvel Comics[2] on May 4, 2020.[3] The system was then identified as the Kolkur system in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[4]
