Klavin was an individual who served as a governor during the reign of the Galactic Empire. In 4 BBY, he attended the wedding of his friend Perrin Fertha's daughter, Leida Mothma, and fellow Chandrilan Stekan Sculdun, arriving at the Mothma Estate on[1] the planet[2] Chandrila in a new starship. The vehicle took two of the limited number of spaces on the estate's docking platform and its crew were not eager to move when Mothma family assistant Erskin Semaj politely asked them to. Semaj then reported the parking issue to Leida's mother, Mon Mothma, who blamed the issue on Klavin's ego and told Semaj and Fertha to deal with it since the governor was Fertha's friend.[1]
